The historic building which houses Pie Hops is in the original Otis Library which dates back to 1850. The library occupied the first floor while the “Pastor’s Study” was above. Barley Head Brewery is an experiemental nanobrewery. Their brewing system allows to produce a wide variety of beers, offering something for everyone. The beers change each week with four to six on tap that showcase the versatility and range of flavors that can be achieved in a brewery. Many of the ingredients are sourced locally, sometimes from the brewer's own garden. Beers are available in tastings, pints, growlers, and in cans. BHB is located in the historic downtown area directly across from the Mystic Museum of Art parking lot.
