The Arc New London Garden & Farm Stand

The Arc NLC stared its produce garden and Farm Stand in 2012 when participants at the Employment Transition Center (ETC) in Groton asked to learn more about agriculture and farming in order to prepare for competitive jobs in this field. Since then, with the help of generous donations from area foundations and the enthusiastic support of the local community, the farm includes a 22,000 square foot garden, an aquaponics facility that grows specialty greens and herbs, a 3-season greenhouse, a sales shed, and a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) component. Scotts' Farm & Greenhouse

The farm is devoted to 15,000 square feet of greenhouse space to growing the finest hanging baskets and annual plants. The wide selection of annuals and perennials are available through spring and summer, as well as acres and acres of vegetables that are picked fresh daily when in season. Pick-your-own fruits and vegetables include: blueberries, peaches, raspberries and apples. Cut-your-flowers in late July.
