A small, family-owned brewery located in the heart of the East Rock neighborhood in New Haven, Connecticut. At the brewery, we use time-honored methods and imported ingredients to produce pure and crisp German-inspired beer. The menus and specials are constantly changing to reflect the seasons using local farms to provide ingredients whenever possible. Specialties of the House are prepared at table-side and include Caesar Salad for Two, Filet Mignon au Poivre, and Roast Half Duck Flambe. Fresh fish, pasta, and poultry round out the menu. You'll be guided by me, Shana Schneider, a Yale alumna and New Haven resident. I'll take you along paths and walkways that you may not have seen before and share some fun insider tips along the way. We walk at a moderate fitness pace, keeping to about a 20-minute mile on paved paths and sidewalks. There may be one "surprising" hill, but otherwise, the routes are flat and stroller friendly. All ages welcome. You'll forget that you're even exercising as you learn more about

A nonprofit organization dedicated to providing artists with a supportive environment and opportunities to exhibit their work in professional galleries. The Phillips Gallery, located on the east side of our building was named to honor our generous donors, Bob and Pat Phillips. Both the Phillips and West Gallery are used for solo and group exhibitions as well as for hosting our Draw On Workshops, Open Studios weekend, Holiday exhibits, our Summer Art Workshop programs and other exciting creative initiatives.
