Contemporary environmental center located in a landscaped rural setting, with nature trails, interactive displays and workshops. As part of the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, the Kellogg Environmental Center offers workshops, exhibits, nature activities, and lectures for the general public. Through hands-on programs, students, teachers and families can enjoy learning about nature and the environment. Tour the elegant 18 th century home of Eunice and Jonathan Trumbull Jr. Mr. Trumbull served as George Washington’s military secretary, Speaker of the House and Governor of Connecticut.
