State of the art indoor/outdoor amphitheater. The Meadows Music Theatre is a popular indoor/outdoor amphitheatre that has a venue capacity of 30,000. The theatre can seat 22,500 people in the outdoor lawn area and 7,500 people indoors. In fact, the outdoor space is mainly used during the summers and this makes it one of the largest amphitheaters in the country.

Gallery on the Green
The Canton Artists’ Guild at the Gallery on the Green opened in 1960. It is Connecticut's longest continuously-running artist guild with a membership of more than 100 juried artisans from towns throughout the greater Farmington River valley. The two story facility has three galleries, a sculpture garden and a gift shop. Before becoming a gallery, the building (built in 1872) had been a two room schoolhouse and then a meeting place for the local volunteer fire department. National Iwo Jima Memorial Monument
Our historic monument depicts the photograph taken by Associated Press Combat Photographer Joe Rosenthal on Mt. Suribachi, Iwo Jima on the fifth day of the battle. His photograph became the symbol of patriotism, the unity of purpose, and the spirit of victory displayed by all Americans during WWII. Our sculptor was Joseph Petrovics of Sculpture House Castings, Inc. of New York City. He created this unique bronze sculpture using Rosenthal’s iconic photograph along with advice from Iwo Jima Battle Survivors. Captain Grant’s is an authentic Colonial home built in 1754 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located in the historic village of Poquetanuck which was name in 1687. The Inn has six working fireplaces including the two sided fireplace that is lit during winter months for breakfast.
