A Living Landmark Closed in 1967 by the Federal Government, the historic granite and limestone Post Office building we call home remained vacant for nearly 30 years. When used as a post office, the Willibrew dining room was the post office work room; our pub was the customer lobby; and the private dining room housed the Postmaster’s office. Although extensive renovations have been made to the building, we retained the early 20th-century architecture while creating a one-of-a-kind atmosphere for dining. Sharpe Hill Vineyard is Connecticut's largest and most awarded winery - having received over 225 medals in international wine competitions. The Goodwin Forest Conservation Education Center and the Goodwin State Forest were gifts to the people of Connecticut from James L. Goodwin, one of America’s first professional foresters.
