White Sands Beach

A lovely beach with great views of Long Island Sound and a picnic area. Although there is no non-resident parking during the beach season (Memorial Day-Labor Day), non-residents are free to us the parking lot duirng off season. McCook Beach & Park

Overlooking Niantic Bay, McCook Point Park was acquired by the Town of East Lyme in 1953 for the “benefit and enjoyment of the Town and its citizens.” Since that time, it has been a central part of life in East Lyme. The park consists of a beautiful bluff between two white, sandy beaches. On the bluff, where the McCook summer home once stood, is a green lawn with a picnic pavilion, a bandshell and an events tent. Hole-in-the-Wall Beach

The beach is accessed through a short tunnel under the railroad tracks, which is the inspiration for the name Hole-In-The-Wall. Its white-sand beach slopes next to a swimming area sheltered on the east by a stone jetty. To the right is McCook Point Beach & Park and to the left is the Niantic Bay Boardwalk. Enjoy a nice relaxing day at the beach, a walk on the boardwalk or on Main Street to enjoy the community of Niantic within the Town of East Lyme . During the summer a lifeguard is present during the day. A beach pass is required to access the beach between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Brodie Park

This lakeside park features 50 acres for activities, including swimming. Across the road is an additional 150 acres with hiking trails in the Franklin P. Kearney Conservation. Use of the beach area requires a beach sticker and spaces are also available for rent for either canoe storage or boat moorings.

New Fairfield Town Park

Swimming facility with restrooms, changing areas, extended snack bar and a picnic area overlooking the water. Open for weekends Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day weekend. Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Residents are able to purchase a season pass for a nominal fee. Daily guest passes are also available.

Greens Harbor Beach

Offering both a sandy beach and a harbor setting where visitors can swim and sunbathe. Lifeguards provide supervised swimming seasonally. Food concessions and picnic tables available. Facilities include handicapped access, restrooms. *Parking available on street for no fee.
