Sub-Edge Farm

Respecting the past and farming for the future. Our farm is a vibrant place providing thousands of people in the Greater Hartford area with food and a connection to the land, and providing a home and livelihood for our family. We grow plants, vegetables, small fruit, flowers and herbs, as well as cover crops using organic methods. We keep a small selection of heritage breed poultry, pigs and other farm animals. Many people visit the farm each season through their involvement in our Community Supported Agriculture Project (CSA) and our delightful farm-shop. We work closely with area restaurants, providing them the finest, freshest specialty produce available. All the while preserving the farm’s historical character and rural landscape.
