Located on the campus of Norwich Free Academy, Slater Memorial Museum awakens visitors to the richness and diversity of the human experience through art and history. For more than one hundred years, the Museum has displayed and interpreted the best examples of fine and decorative art, representing a broad range of world cultures. Come see our permanent exhibits of Classical and Renaissance casts, East Asian, African, and American art, and an exploration of the varied history of Norwich, Connecticut. The Converse Art Gallery hosts a variety of temporary exhibits, including the annual Norwich Art School Children's Art Show and the Norwich Free Academy Student Art Show in the Spring.
