Flanders Fish Market & Restaurant is a family story beginning in 1983. Paul Formica and his wife, Donna, drove past a little house on Chesterfield Road in what was then called Flanders, CT, and thought, “That could be a fresh fish market.” That December, with Donna & Paul expecting their first child, they opened the Fish Market with only $41 to their name, and they had to put it in the register to make change.
Since that December of 1983, Paul and his late wife Donna now have four children, and Flanders Fish has gone from simply a Fresh Fish Market to a Full-Service and Award-Winning Restaurant & Seafood Marketplace, offering our valued guests the freshest seafood in Connecticut! We drive our refrigerated trucks to the Boston Fish Pier, allowing us to provide our patrons with the freshest and most high quality ingredients available. Whether you’d like to dine-in with us in our Dining Room, Bar, Seasonal Outdoor Patio, Banquet Room, or Demonstration Kitchen, order Take-Out, or have us cater your event with a Classic New England-style Clambake, we are here to serve you. FRESH for over 30 years, and we looking forward to 30 more!
