Stonebridge Wild Fowl Sanctuary
The trail leads north through a grove of crab apple trees (bloom in May/June) into a meadow (wildflowers all summer long). You can either walk south through the field or west across the field to a wide area of the river (pond). The trail goes south along the river to the 'stonebridge," where stepping stones are set on top of a low dam. Across the river, the path loops to the north and then down the river to Stonebridge Road. Here you can either cross a wooden bridge and return to the parking area or cross Stonebridge Road to the southern portion of the sanctuary. The southern portion is
