Town of Preston

Welcome to Preston...
a charming, quintessential New England town nestled in the center of Connecticut's three Eastern Tourism Regions!

As part of The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor, Preston proudly showcases lovely open fields, bucolic stone walls, a designated Scenic Road (CT-164) and several National Register of Historic Places and barns - all of which are reminiscent of its important agricultural heritage.

Highlighting its rural landscape, Preston has thriving seasonal and year-round agritourism businesses, such as campgrounds, vineyards and farm-to-table markets. There are several active boat launches, numerous walking trails and a vibrant Community Park - as well as exciting development plans in progress.

Given its many unique places to visit and stay, and its proximity to two world-class casinos and the Connecticut shoreline, Preston is a perfect place to eat, stay, play and explore eastern Connecticut!
