The Society was founded in 1970 to perpetuate the history of the town, to encourage the study of the history of the town, and to perserve manuscript material and relics relating to that history. The Society maintains the Stephen Main Homestead as its headquarters.

Rebecca's has been serving inventive, modern American cuisine for over 20 years in its Greenwich, Connecticut location.
