The farm is devoted to 15,000 square feet of greenhouse space to growing the finest hanging baskets and annual plants. The wide selection of annuals and perennials are available through spring and summer, as well as acres and acres of vegetables that are picked fresh daily when in season. Pick-your-own fruits and vegetables include: blueberries, peaches, raspberries and apples. Cut-your-flowers in late July.

In late July, the cutting garden is open for cut-your-own flowers, sold by the pound. Guests are invited to come check out the eclectic array of beautiful flowers to mix and match for creative bouquets. Great do-it-yourself wedding flowers, parties, gifts, or to enjoy at home.

Scotts Connecticut Valley Orchard is a second location, located 274 Kelsey Hill Road in Deep River. Open mid-July to November 1, Mon.-Sat. Picking hours vary, call (860) 526-9633.
