Welcome to Hotel Marcel, a completely reimagined hotel in New Haven, CT. An icon of Brutalist architecture, the building was completed in 1970 by designer and architect Marcel Breuer, to house the headquarters of the Armstrong Rubber Company.  The Pirelli building, as it has become known to the locals, is getting new life as the first all-electric, solar powered, LEED Platinum certified, net-zero carbon hotel in the United States. The design forward, minimalist approach to hospitality is a nod to the building’s character.

Hotel Marcel features 165 guest rooms and suites outfitted with the latest in-room technology, an onsite fitness center, lobby lounge, and over 9,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting and event space. Additionally, Hotel Marcel is home to BLDG, a restaurant and bar serving modern American cuisine.
