The Connecticut Science Center is dedicated to inspiring lifelong learning through interactive and innovative experiences that explore our changing world through science. With more than 165 hands-on exhibits, a 3D digital theater, four educational labs, daily LIVE Science experience, a host of special programming and family events, and home to Connecticut’s only year-round indoor tropical Butterfly habitat – Butterfly Encounter. Our architecturally stunning building is a 154,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility overlooking the Connecticut River and conveniently located in downtown Hartford with easy access from I-84 and I-91 and easy on-site parking.
