The Center at Fairfield features live and mounted animals and displays, an outdoor "birds of prey" compound for live, non-releasable hawks, falcons and owls, and a Nature Store. It is adjacent to the 155-acre Larsen Wildlife Sanctuary which comprises rolling woodlands, meadows, streams, marshes and ponds, with raised boardwalks and bridges allowing access to the varied ecosystems that can be explored on seven miles of trails.  The Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Fairfield also offers a summer day camp and year-round environmental education programs and activities for children, families and adults.
