Branch Brook Campground

A quiet, family-friendly campground nestled in the Litchfield hills, home to several long-time seasonal campers, families looking for a few days’ escape and single-night visitors who are just passing through.

Located just off Route 6 in Thomaston, our 79 beautifully-groomed, shaded sites are very inviting, and a dip in the pool is just the thing to leave the real world behind for a while. The kids can enjoy the playground before the family gathers around the fire for s'mores. You can spend a day hiking in the adjacent Black Rock State Park, or take the kids on a quick drive to Lake Compounce for amusement rides and water slides.
