Scenic views for both hikers and bird-watchers at this 276-acre state park. Located in Salisbury, hunting is allowed (archery deer/turkey only) and the trail is accessible from March until December.

Mono Pond State Park Reserve

218 acre park with bird watching, boating, cross-country skiing, fishing, hiking, picnicking and hunting. Bow hunting allowed in the gall on the west side of the pond. Boating is limited due to shallow water throughout the pond. There is an 8 mph limit but the pond is best used by canoe, kayak and row boat. Other amenities: Picnicking

Minnie Island State Park

1 acre park with boating, fishing and picnicking. The island is in Gardner Lake opposite the boat ramp. Other amenities: Picnicking
