Founded in 2001, the Ridgefield Historical Society (RHS) maintains state-of-the-art archives, which serve as the principal repository for Ridgefield’s historic documents, images, and artifacts. 45 tiny cabins range in size from 140 to 200 square feet and are located on 86 acres. The largest cabins can accommodate four people because they are equipped with bunk beds. And guests are welcome to bring their dogs. The cabins include a large bay window that looks out to the secluded Connecticut woods, a kitchenette, bathroom with a very tiny but perfectly operable shower as well.

Historic Rowayton preserves one of the most important historic collections in the state of Connecticut. It is our mission to help our community discover the fascinating history of Rowayton, a small maritime village on Long Island Sound.
