Hilltop Farm

Hilltop Farm was built by Indian Motorcycle co-founder, George Hendee, starting in 1913, as a gentleman’s retirement farm. Today, The Friends of the Farm at Hilltop (FOFAH), our nonprofit, owns 7.9 acres where the “Big White Barn” and outbuildings sit. We lease 76 adjacent, conservation acres from the Town of Suffield through a 21-year agreement. We’ve been renovating the buildings and maintaining the property since 2004. Sub-Edge Farm

Respecting the past and farming for the future. Our farm is a vibrant place providing thousands of people in the Greater Hartford area with food and a connection to the land, and providing a home and livelihood for our family. We grow plants, vegetables, small fruit, flowers and herbs, as well as cover crops using organic methods. We keep a small selection of heritage breed poultry, pigs and other farm animals. Many people visit the farm each season through their involvement in our Community Supported Agriculture Project (CSA) and our delightful farm-shop. We work closely with area restaurants

Curioporium

Curioporium is an interactive and immersive haunted shopping experience. Oddities, Antiques, Whitch Items, Curiosities, Gifts and unique Art in 6 rooms of immersive haunted environments. Open Year Round. Free Admission The space also hosts special events and is available for rental for parties, photoshoots, filming, and more. The Curioporium is located in the heart of Hartford and the thriving Parkville area! Located directly across from Hog River Brewing and Pine and Iron Axe Throwing, and across the street from Parkville Market gives guests a full evening of entertainment.

Stirrup Fun Stables Rescue

Stirrup Fun Stables Rescue, Inc is a place where we stir up a little fun! We are open to the young and the young at heart. We love to trail ride, barrel race, jump, and more. Bring the family for a guided trail around beautiful, scenic Connecticut, join a lesson program, or just spend some time caring for one of our many rescue horses. The farm began as a rescue facility for abused and neglected horses and has grown into something much bigger. Spacecat Brewing Company

The beer is constantly rotating a menu of inspired craft lagers and ales sourcing ingredients. Keep an eye out for the release of our very first beer list. Spacecat is located in the historic J. & J. Cash textiles mill in South Norwalk. Located just a 1/4 mile south of the South Norwalk train station (50 minutes from the heart of NYC!) and 1/2 mile south of Washing Street. Pull up a seat and enjoy a cold beer in the taproom featuring seamless wrap-around views into our state-of-the-art manufacturing space.

The Claypen

The Claypen is a place where memories are made. Making gifts for a loved one, capturing a newborn’s footprints, birthday parties, scout troops, bridal showers and bachelorette parties, good times are a regular occurrence at this paint-your-own-pottery and glass fusing studio since 1996.

The Firestone | Art Studio & Cafe

The studio is open to the public for pottery painting, glass fusing, board art, and more! Enjoy a cup of coffee and some food while you create. The studio is open for walk-ins 7 days a week. We offer pottery painting, canvas painting, and wood sign painting with no reservation required. (These all can be turned into to go kits as well!) We also offer wheel throwing, hand-building, and glass fusing by appointment only.

Lucky Chance Farm

The farm offers Western and English riding lessons, trail rides are available by appointment. Also available are partial leases, boarding, and training. We also trail ride regularly. Please feel free to visit

314 Beer Garden

The 314 Beer Garden offers 14 beers on draft and a full bar. Plus, we’ve got 314 Wood Fired Pizza to feed your belly and your soul. We are an all ages venue (daytime/weekends) with a 21 and over bar area, live music and yard games.
