Stirrup Fun Stables Rescue, Inc is a place where we stir up a little fun! We are open to the young and the young at heart. We love to trail ride, barrel race, jump, and more. Bring the family for a guided trail around beautiful, scenic Connecticut, join a lesson program, or just spend some time caring for one of our many rescue horses. The farm began as a rescue facility for abused and neglected horses and has grown into something much bigger. The Claypen is a place where memories are made. Making gifts for a loved one, capturing a newborn’s footprints, birthday parties, scout troops, bridal showers and bachelorette parties, good times are a regular occurrence at this paint-your-own-pottery and glass fusing studio since 1996.

The studio is open to the public for pottery painting, glass fusing, board art, and more! Enjoy a cup of coffee and some food while you create. The studio is open for walk-ins 7 days a week. We offer pottery painting, canvas painting, and wood sign painting with no reservation required. (These all can be turned into to go kits as well!) We also offer wheel throwing, hand-building, and glass fusing by appointment only.
