Lasting Brass Brewing Company

Owner Ed Silva began his journey into brewing 15 years ago with home bew production. As he immersed himself in the craft beer community, participating in local competitions, within 10 years he began the Lasting Brass Brewing Company. Along with six unique recipies, he continues to evolve his brewing techniques with experiment batches brewed every 3 months.

Kinne Preserve

Located off Wisniewski Road, via Corey Road, the Kinne Preserve is 28.2 acres of wooded land with approximately 1.2 miles of trail, a small camping area and views of an unnamed brook. Originally established in October 1976 as a Bicentennial Park. The land was donated by Arthur and Dorothy Kinne. Arthur Kinne, a member of the town’s Bicentennial Commission, and his wife Dorothy donated both the land for the preserve and access road. It is now available for passive recreation, hiking and camping.

Robert Manship Park

Manship Park is a small town park with a playground and a multi-purpose ball field (Soccer, T-ball and baseball fields), which also includes a boat launch into the Quinebaug River.
