Sheffield Island Lighthouse and Harbor Tour

Capacity is limited to 48 passengers. The Norwalk Seaport Association has owned, restored and maintained Sheffield Island Lighthouse since 1986 and is the official U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service Friends group for the Norwalk Islands. This three (3) hour excursion begins with a narrated tour of the Norwalk harbor and its three historic Norwalk lighthouses, ending with a one hour stop at Sheffield Island Lighthouse. Norwich Heritage & Regional Visitors’ Center

The center is located in the 1783 Dr. Daniel Lathrop Schoolhouse on the historic Norwichtown Green. Ivoryton Playhouse

The Ivoryton Playhouse is a unique theatre with a rich cultural history. Built in 1911, the Ivoryton Playhouse is the oldest, continuously running, self-supporting summer theater in the nation having hosted some of the great names of the American stage including Katharine Hepburn, Marlon Brando, Helen Hayes, and Tallulah Bankhead.
