Sharpe Hill Vineyard is Connecticut's largest and most awarded winery - having received over 225 medals in international wine competitions. Our wines have received national acclaim and the winery was featured on the cover of the "Wines across America" edition of the Wine Spectator. We planted our first vines in 1992 and the winery opened in 1997. The vineyard is planted on a 100 acre hilltop parcel, overlooking three states. We produce eight different wines, one of which, Ballet of Angels is the best selling wine made in New England. The tasting room is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to offering wine tastings and vineyard tours, we also feature a fine gourmet restaurant the Fireside Tavern (reservations required)
