Meet blacksmiths, coopers, printers, and carvers hard at work in our recreated 19th-century seafaring village. With 19 acres situated along the Mystic River we offer ample space for kids to play games on the Green, explore the waterfront or put their imagination to work at our playscape! Learn about navigating the stars and planets like ancient way finders at Treworgy Planetuarium. Want to get out on the water? Sit back and relax on a scenic cruise along the Mystic River or visit our boathouse to rent a row, sail or pedal boat!
Interested in learning how old trades are used today? Visit the Henry du Pont Preservation Shipyard and watch our shipwrights use traditional tools and methods while working on one of their many projects happening this summer.
