A two+ acre site in the Simsbury Center Historic District features a special collection of 10 historic buildings, gardens, and a gift shop. The grounds and gardens are open year-round during daylight hours for self-guided tours. Attractions include the Capt. Elisha Phelps House (also known as the Phelps Tavern), reproduction Meeting House,  one-room Schoolhouse, wigwam, Ensign-Bickford Fuse Room exhibit, and more. 

Hours

Thursday, Friday, Saturday noon - 4 p.m.
Closed on major holidays and Simsbury Public School snow days.

Dates of Operation

Ellsworth Visitor's Center and Museum Store are open Spring - Summer - Fall, Thursdays - Saturdays.
Tours of the historic Phelps Tavern, built circa 1771, are offered seasonally, Saturdays at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Please call (860)658-2500 to book your tour.

Pricing

Adults $10, Seniors & Students $8, Children (6-17) $5. Free for members and children under 6.
