You are invited to discover some of Connecticut's agricultural bounty: its beautiful vineyards and fine wines. The Connecticut Wine Council encompasses 40 wineries all over the state. Sit on a patio of a Connecticut winery and enjoy the high quality of wines the vineyards offer.
40 Connecticut farm wineries and two Connecticut wine festivals participate in the Passport to Connecticut Farm Wineries Program which runs annually from May to November. To get started, pick up a Passport at any of the 40 Connecticut farm wineries. Once you have a Passport, tour around Connecticut visiting farm wineries while collecting stamps along the way. It's freeto participate and there is no fee to obtain a Passport or get a stamp in your Passport. Once at least 16 stamps are obtained, submit your Passport by the first Sunday in November to any Connecticut farm winery for the grand prize drawing held annually in early December. For a complete list of prizes visit www.CTGrown.gov/CTWinePassport.
