Enjoy the Mystic River shoreline and unique views of the Charles W. Morgan, L.A. Dunton, and Joseph Conrad aboard Breck Marshall, a 20-foot Crosby catboat reproduction and the flagship of the Mystic Seaport Boathouse.
Each trip aboard Breck Marshall is a unique adventure. Share conversation in her roomy cockpit while the skipper narrates, pointing out interesting aspects of the beautiful shoreline, including traditional vessels, their different rigs, and answering questions about the boat. The ride is quiet and smooth, and is a very special half hour, which some treat themselves to time and again. Catboat Association members may find this old hat, but to many people, especially children, the trip on Breck Marshall is their first adventure under sail.
Breck Marshall offers 30-minute rides, weather permitting, mid-May to Columbus Day. Tickets are $8 per person (museum admission is required). Limit six passengers per voyage.
