Knofla South, across Bakos Road from Knofla North, is a gentle, half-mile downhill walk through the woods to a man-made pond. The trail continues over the earthen dam at the south end of the pond and up the eastern shoreline, where the trail ends. From the shoreline you may glimpse the beaver that inhabit the pond.
