American Legion State Forest Campground

Austin F. Hawes Memorial Campground offers 30 sites in pine woods. Fishing but no swimming permitted. Amenities include bathrooms, showers, dumping station. One pet per site permitted. Rustic cabin rental : all cabins are 14 feet by 17 feet, have two rooms and can sleep six. There is a double bed in the front room and two bunk beds in the back room. Black Rock State Park

This popular park offers excellent swimming, hiking, scenic views, and Indian legends all tucked into the scenic rolling hills of the western highlands. There are 78 wooded and open camping sites and a designated Trout Park, for activities including camping, hiking, stream and pond fishing, field sports, picnicking and swimming. Note: Lifeguards on duty three to five days per week, including weekends. Facilities: bathrooms, picnic tables.

The Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University is a multi-faceted facility that opened in 1990. It houses the 740-seat Kelley Theatre, the 120-seat Lawrence A.
