Everyone is welcome to explore the animal barns and learn more about the animals that are cared for on the university's campus. Visitors can see dairy and beef cows, sheep and horses in the barns daily from 10 AM - 4 PM. Young animals can be found at the barns at the following times of the year: foals and lambs in the spring, dairy calves year-round and beef calves beginning in March. Every day visitors can view the dairy cows being milked from 1 PM - 4 PM at the Kellogg Dairy Center.

The Isham-Terry House is a time capsule of the genteel lifestyle of the late 19th and early 20th centuries and the lone survivor of a once vibrant Hartford neighborhood. In 1896, Dr. Oliver Isham purchased the house for his medical practice and as a home for himself, his parents and his three sisters. His sisters, Julia and Charlotte, lived in the house until their deaths in the 1970s. A life-long love of their family home and an interest in historic preservation led them to donate their family home to Connecticut Landmarks. The Garlic Farm sells organically grown, great tasting, freshly harvested vegetables directly to consumers from its barn in the historic farming valley of West Granby.
