This 7-acre display garden and nursery grows rare and unusual peonies as well as perennial landscape edibles. Campbell Falls State Park Reserve

Home to a 50 foot waterfall, this state park is a natural reserve area offering hiking trails and stream fishing. Within Campbell Falls State Park, the Whitney River drops 50 feet in a magnificent thundering. The river falls through a tight gorge where the direction of the water flow changes twice, first to the left, then to the right. This waterfall has a rugged form not often found in New England waterfalls. Its power in early spring is a thunderous surprise, considering the gentle terrain of the trail and the surrounding forest.

Squantz Pond State Park

This four-season park immerses the visitor in a "mountain like" setting, as steep, wooded slopes disappear into the cool, blue pond below. In the fall, the park becomes a haven for photographers capturing the colorful reflection of the foliage in the mirrored surface of the water.
