Pick your own apples and cut your own Christmas trees at this 9th generation family farm on a scenic hilltop. Open in the fall season for pumpkins, mums and gourds, not to mention fresh apple cider and apple cider donuts. We sell our own cider, apple cider donuts, cut flowers, and homemade the old-fashioned way, jams and jellies. We also sell locally sourced pies, pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn, mums, maple syrup, honey, cheddar cheese, garlic, potatoes, some tomatoes, and gifts.

CT Ballooning offers scenic hot air balloon flights over the Farmington River Valley and throughout central Connecticut. National Helicopter Museum, Inc.

The museum features a photo essay of helicopter development from nature's own dragonfly and hummingbird, man-made boomerangs and ancient Chinese tops to international developments in the twentieth century. Igor Sikorsky's career is evoked and his first craft is meticulously modeled. All helicopter pioneers are displayed. Dr. Anselm Franz , inventor of the Jumo 004 , developed the gas turbine engine in Stratford in the 1950s and his T55 cutaway can be seen and soon the T53 will be on display. Multiple models and photos of all current rotary craft can be found.
