Stone Acres Farm is a sixty-three-acre working farm located in the historic coastal New England town of Stonington. The property's rolling hills, gardens, and acres of vegetable production are open to visitors. We celebrate natural farming, sustainable food, culinary education, and the preservation of open space, cultural landscapes, and historic structures.

The Farm Stand is open for the season Monday-Friday, from 10-6, and Saturday-Sunday 9-5. The Farm Stand has a variety of greens, eggs, veggies, honey, dairy, local meat and much, much more!  Follow signs when you arrive on campus.  

At Stone Acres Farm, we grow delicious food in a sustainable manner that is nourishing to the environment that supports it.  Our farming decisions are guided by a passion for the importance of flavor, adventure and variety in food, keeping in mind the wisdom of natural systems and the role they play in agriculture.

Dinners at the Farm. Stone Acres Farm hosts a variety of food inspired events throughout the year, including farm dinners, guest chefs, culinary workshops and much more.  See what's cooking on the farm, and join us for dinner. 

Flowers and Gardens. There is nothing like fresh cut flowers to compliment your home. Many of the flowers on the farm are grown among herbs and vegetables to promote biodiversity and provide a habitat for beneficial species. 

Education. Stone Acres is home to the Yellow Farmhouse Education Center, a space to preserve and celebrate culinary, agricultural and cultural heritage through cooking classes and other education programming.

Philosophy and History. We are rooted in a 200 year history that supports local agriculture and community. Dating back to 1765, Stone Acres Farm is an iconic property and former dairy farm. The farm originally consisted of approximately 225 acres and has been in continual operation since before the Revolutionary War.
