Old Town Hall Museum/ Enfield Historical Society

Revolutionary-era community building with a fascinating history. Opened on January 1, 1775, the Old Town Hall began its service to the community as the third meetinghouse of the First Ecclesiastical Society. Only a year later Enfield's Minutemen were attending services in the building when Captain Abbey used his famous drum to announce the outbreak of war at Concord and Lexington. Old Stone Schoolhouse

Discover the Old Stone School house on Coppermine Road, part of the Farmington Historical Society. The Old Stone Schoolhouse, at Red Oak Hill and Coppermine roads, was a schoolhouse from 1790 to 1872. From 1875 to 1956, it was used as a chapel and community center. Old Drake Hill Flower Bridge

Please note: due to construction the bridge will be closed to the public from June through November 2019. The Old Drake Hill Flower Bridge is an example of 19th century metal-truss bridge construction. Originally designed and built in 1892, it spans 183 feet and carries a 12-foot roadway suspended 18 feet over the beautiful Farmington River. It was originally designed as a one lane, one-way bridge used for vehicular traffic. It was replaced by a modern 2-lane bridge a few hundred feet to the north in 1992. Oakwood Sports Center

Glastonbury home of indoor soccer programs and more. Since 1980, Oakwood Glastonbury has provided Connecticut youth with the opportunity to learn, develop and play year-round soccer. Founders and Directors Rick Derella and Dave Farrell conducted youth leagues, adult leagues, tournaments and soccer instruction on one indoor field in the early days. New England Civil War Museum

This extraordinary collection, including weapons, personal items and memorabilia, has grown to become one of the largest in southern New England. The Memorial Building in historic downtown Rockville was constructed between 1889-1890 to serve as a monument to the over 350 local Civil War veterans. As part of the agreement with the town, the second floor of the building was given to the local Grand Army of the Republic Post to use for their meetings and other social functions.
