Andrews Homestead (1760)

Homestead: Visitors to the homestead will see early construction details. The great fireplace with its deep Dutch ovens in the keeping room, the paneling surrounding the three remaining fireplaces, the huge exposed field stone chimney wall in the entrance hall, the hiding closet, as well as the wide floor boards, hardware are all original. The furnishings are donations from local families. Meriden’s Industrial past comes to life in the many display cases containing numerous products made here, and now collected all over the world. Amity-Woodbridge Historical Society at the Thomas Darling House

A gem built in 1772 by Thomas Darling, businessman and friend of Benjamin Franklin, the house remained in the Darling family until it was purchased by the Town in 1973. Almost all of the furnishings are original to the house. An authentic herb garden is maintained by the Garden Club of Woodbridge. By appointment.

Almira F. Stephan Memorial Playhouse

The Castle Craig Players, founded by the late Warren M. Stephan in 1992, produces a full season of plays and musicals each year at the Almira F. Stephan Memorial Playhouse.
