Flanders Fish Market & Restaurant is a family story beginning in 1983. Paul Formica and his wife, Donna, drove past a little house on Chesterfield Road in what was then called Flanders, CT, and thought, “That could be a fresh fish market.” That December, with Donna & Paul expecting their first child, they opened the Fish Market with only $41 to their name, and they had to put it in the register to make change. Since that December of 1983, Paul and his late wife Donna now have four children, and Flanders Fish has gone from simply a Fresh Fish Market to a Full-Service and Award-Winning
