Wilson’s by High Watch

Wilson’s was founded by High Watch Recovery Center for two very important reasons. From atop The Hill of Hope, High Watch has been a member of Kent, CT’s vibrant community since 1939. We love Kent’s rural character and our campus on Carter Road reflects that bucolic feel. Kent’s downtown has come to be a wonderful destination for local residents and visitors to the Litchfield Hills and Wilson’s is our opportunity to become a part of that. We love the downtown Kent community, its residents, and business owners and we are proud to join them. In addition, Wilson’s is a vital component of recovery

1796 Old Farm School

Bloomfield is rich in history—from Tunxis Indian Trails to Underground Railroad stops to Mark Twain’s nature treks. Prior to 1796, a log house stood on or near the original site of the Old Farm Schoolhouse. The Old Farm Schoolhouse, the oldest public building in town, stands at the corner of School Street and Park Avenue. It was built in 1796 in the Old Farm School District, one of seven school districts in the Wintonbury Parish of Windsor. Until 1839 it was known simply as the Brick School. The prized bell is as old as the school, having been donated in 1796 by Wintonbury resident Frederick

Meraki

Food to Love…that’s our mission. From breakfast to dinner and every treat in between. The Greek term Meraki means to do something with love, passion and creativity; to put something of yourself into your work. Greek culture often refers to Meraki as a means to describe not only their cooking but their lifestyles as well. Although we are not Greek, we still embody these morals in our artistic pursuit of promoting personal and intimate culinary excellence.
