Since our founding in 1961, the Weston History & Culture Center has carried out its mission to "discover, collect, and preserve Weston's heritage, promoting understanding of and context to local, regional and world events." We further our mission by curating exhibits that highlight Weston's history and its connection to national and world events, by offering historical and cultural public programs for all ages as well as partnering with local schools to teach and bring to life Weston's history. YiaYia’s owners Yanni and Kaitlyn Gogo met several years ago in Astoria, New York while working together at an upscale event space. Not too long after they fell in love, married, had a child, and relocated to Torrington, Connecticut. Yanni worked for a few years as a General Manager in a popular eatery nearby.
