Blue State Coffee (Main St., Hartford)

We roast our own organic, fairly traded coffee and offer food and baked goods (some vegetarian/vegan/gluten free) prepared in our kitchen with all natural, seasonal ingredients. We give 2% of sales to local non-profits. Our customers nominate the causes and vote on how the donations are allocated. We strive to be a zero-waste business.

Metro Bis Restaurant

Metro Bis is located within the historic Joseph Ensign House. The main dining room and event space occupy the annex added by the Congregational Church in the 1960s, and the rest of this historic home is available for private events. The restaurant also includes a porch overlooking the sweeping front lawn and a single hotel room.
