If you’re comfortable maneuvering a kayak and can confidently turn left and right, you may enjoy venturing into Connecticut’s dynamic shoreline ecosystems. These coastal routes feature brackish marshes, tidal mudflats, eelgrass beds, salt marshes, and sandy beaches—each teeming with life and shaped by the tides.
