Take a seaplane ride on a Piper Cub on Floats or Wheels. These nostalgic airplanes bring us back to an era in aviation that most have forgotten. And these are the type of planes we fly low and slow, mostly with the windows open when the weather is warm.

Located in Danbury close to I-84, in picturesque southwestern Connecticut utilizing Candlewood Lake, Lake Zoar, Lake Lillinonah and the Housatonic River.

The flight starts at the dock with a thorough safety briefing from the pilot including the use of the aviation life vests that are worn by pilot and passenger at all times. High quality voice activated headphones are used to communicate while flying.

The 20 minute flight will bring you the length of Candlewood Lake, Connecticut's largest. From there, you can intercept the Housatonic River, over Lovers Leap State Park and into the north side of Lake Lillanoah. The view is breathtaking and you will love doing landings in the water.

The one hour flight will bring you to the end of Lake Lillanoah, over the Shepaug Dam then the length of Lake Zoar. Truly one of the prettiest spots in New England. If you have something else in mind you want to see, don't hesitate to discuss with your pilot and every effort will be made. Our restrictions are 25 miles and we must return to the point of departure. All of our pilots are also instructors with many years of experience and thousands of hours of giving flight instruction. All planes have dual controls and if you want to get a feel for the controls, just ask. We feel every flight should be about education.
