The Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University is a multi-faceted facility that opened in 1990. It houses the 740-seat Kelley Theatre, the 120-seat Lawrence A. Wien Experimental Theatre, and the Thomas J. Walsh, Jr. Art Gallery. The Quick presents a variety of programs including jazz, global, and classical music, dance, theatre, circus, special events, and lectures as part of the Open VISIONS Forum series. The Quick welcomes over 40,000 patrons through our doors annually for our events, as well as university programs and rental programs that reflect the work of our local partners. As part of our mission, the Quick also provides educational programs to serve K-12th grade students throughout the region, and in particular the Bridgeport, Norwalk, and Fairfield school systems. As part of our commitment to education, the Quick also offers summer camps that offer youth a chance to learn about different art forms.
