Our "little-river inn" (o-gawa shou) is a wonderfully simple 19th-century farmhouse, redesigned to provide guests with glimpses into Japanese culture and lifestyle.

The Salmon Brook flows peacefully around our 3.6 acre property, abundant with plant and animal life.

We offer two guest rooms, finished with carefully selected, traditional Japanese materials. Private gardens help create a tranquil mood. The custom built "o-furo" (large, sunken soaking tub) seats two comfortably. A natural spring just up the hill provides clear, soft, refreshing water.

Our authentic breakfast and dinner selections are served in the style you would find in a traditional Japanese inn (ryokan).  Above all, they are prepared "from the heart" and with a desire to create a unique experience for our guests.
