Enders Island, a hidden gem off the coast of Mystic, is an 11-acre island connected to the mainland by a short causeway. Enders Island serves as a ministry of healing and hope, providing spiritual retreats, a Sacred Art Institute, and a community for support to people in recovery.
Visitors are welcome to come and discover this beautiful island. Walk the garden paths that surround the Enders House, an early 20th century Arts and Crafts mansion and spend some time in Our Lady of the Assumption Chapel, constructed of Connecticut fieldstone interlocked with stones from Marian Shrines around the world. Take a moment to sit and reflect at one of the island's scenic vantage points and from mid-August to mid-September, enjoy hundreds of dahlias as they bloom in the crisp island air.
With daily and week-long retreats, to courses in Sacred Art, there is something for everyone at Enders Island to experience.
