Located at the eastern point of Norwalk, Calf Pasture Beach offers boat rentals and a launch, concessions, picnic areas, a skate park and volleyball courts. Kayak along the beach from the Island Kayak trail.
There are two regulation, lighted sand volleyball courts, two bocce courts, full-length basketball court, three lighted softball fields, and a full skate board park.
The calm waters of Long Island Sound makes it a great place for those long summer days. Walkways are lit for evening strolls or power walks. Concessions are available in season.
Shady Beach, just east of Calf Pasture, offers many additional picnic tables and great shade to escape the summer sun. Grills are available at Shady Beach.

Parking pass required. Download a pass from the Norwalk Parks and Recreation website, or pick up at the office Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m..-4:30 p.m.. Free for Norwalk Residents. Non-Resident passes are $175/year for land-locked towns, office pick up only. The non-resident parking fee is $42/per car on weekdays before 5:00 pm, and $30/per car after 5:00 pm., $72/per car on Saturday and Sunday.. Day Parking passes can be purchased on the ParkMobile app or at one of the two pay station kiosks located on the main sidewalk next to the parking lot. Passes available at the beach.
Beaches are available for weddings, birthday parties, family reunions, not-for-profit walks, runs and events. Party tents are available to rent in season. They can seat 120 people.
