A gracious 19th century inn in a picturesque country village with classic New England ambiance.
"The restaurant alone is worth the trip," said a recent review in The New York Times. The White Hart Inn is a luxury hotel located in the Litchfield Hills, two hours from New York. Although, the inn dates back to 1806, it was reopened in the fall of 2014 after a complete renovation. The restaurant is helmed by Annie Wayte, whose previous restaurants included Nicoles and 202, both in New York and in London. The inn is less than a quarter of a mile from the Appalachian Trail, close to antique dealers and within 20 minutes to three ski area, at the epicenter of some of the northeast's best biking, near pick-your-own orchards, close to rivers and lake (for fly fishing, kayaking, swimming or just lounging) and in the "leaf season" there are few more beautiful locations to be.
