The historic one-acre complex includes the 1822 Marks-Brownson House, 1872 Trap Falls Schoolhouse and 19th-century Wilson Barn. See an interactive exhibit "Three Centuries of Shelton: From Farming to Industry and Beyond." A new barn houses a restored "carry-all," used in the 1920s to transport children to school. Visit the herb and heirloom vegetable gardens, museum shop and small research library (open by appointment only). Special events and school programs throughout the year including Vintage Vehicles Antique & Classic Car Show held on Father's Day.
