The Eastern Connecticut Center for History, Art, and Performance continues to manage and operate this local historical museum. The intent of this collection is to create an opportunity for the guests to explore Willington’s history, the contributions of its residents, the Hall family, and the impact of the Gardiner Hall Jr. Thread Company.
The Museum is expanding programming to bring a heightened awareness of historic preservation and significant historic assets in the region and beyond.
The museum is located at The Mill Works, formally the home of the Gardiner Hall Jr. Company. The Mill Works facility is listed on the Connecticut State and National Register of Historic Places.
