Maple Sugaring - A Timeless New England Tradition of Late Winter 2026 Open Sugar House

Stop by and take in the sights and smells of maple syrup production at our open sugar house. Sample a variety of maple syrup grades and discover your new favorite flavor. Learn about how and why maple syrup became an important part of New England’s heritage.

Our evaporator is wood-fired—parents, please watch your little ones carefully near this heat source. Boiling depends on a "run" of sap, which happens when nights dip below freezing and sunny days warm above freezing. This natural cycle is at the whim of Mother Nature, so if there isn’t a sap run, there won’t be boiling that day. We’ll be open regardless to tour the sugar house and share the process with you.

Admission is free.

Feel free to browse our pop-up shop featuring farm products like maple syrup, honey, gourmet pantry items, and limited fresh produce. Even if you don’t purchase, we’re here to educate about our livelihood and local agriculture.
