Garden to Glass: Amari Cocktail Class

Join acclaimed mixologist Anthony Caporale and explore the complex world of amari through the lens of their botanical foundations; earthy artichoke, bitter gentian root, soothing chamomile, warming cinchona bark, fragrant angelica, and aromatic wormwood. Participants will smell, taste, and compare fresh and dried versions of key ingredients to understand how maceration and distillation concentrate and transform these flavors into the bittersweet spirits that anchor so many classic cocktails.

Using a selection of fine spirits provided by Spencer & Lynn Wine and Spirit Merchants, learn to mix Aperol Spritz, Cynar Sour, and Negroni cocktails that showcase different amari styles and demonstrate how these bitter liqueurs balance sweetness, add complexity, and stimulate the palate.

Take home recipe cards and a deeper appreciation for the herbalist tradition behind Italy's most celebrated digestifs. 21+ years old.
